OMG: New Wonky Spirals Sample

In January, I stitched a new version of my Wonky Spirals pattern. I'm excited to be teaching this class at Wandering Stitches Quilt Shop in Orlando, and I needed a fresh sample! I used the Fish Hope prints by Hoodie Crescent for Paintbrush Studio Fabrics and a solid Silver background. My One Monthly Goal for February is to finish this quilt--quilting and binding.

This pattern uses improv piecing techniques with a Courthouse Steps block. Beyond that, it's all about color placement.

Or, join me at Wandering Stitches on February 27th for the class!

Here's a look at my other versions of Wonky Spirals. Which do you like best?

Small geo prints with sashing helps the spirals to pop.

Two sizes of wonky spirals add to the wonky feel of this quilt. I used a variety of black and white prints and a bright red background.
